Using the Batch Reports Utility

The Reveille Batch Reports Utility enables you to run reports on a scheduled basis, and optionally e-mail a link to the report, and a PDF copy of the report. The utility is entirely file-driven, with the definition on how to execute the report contained in the Reports.xml file.

The individual report requests are contained in .ini files, and utility can be scheduled to run through the Windows Scheduler by setting Scheduled Tasks.  E-mailing the reports generates a log entry in the On-Call Log and Reveille System Log.

The reports generated with the Batch Reports Utility are stored in the Reveille Installation Path\Reveille\SavedReports folder within the Reveille Web site. These files are cleaned up and deleted based on the number of days set in Delete Report Files (Days Old) under the General tab of the Options window.  The reports using the Batch Reports Utility include:

  • Average Response Times Report
  • Customer Experience Report
  • Daily Availability Report
  • Monthly Availability Report
  • Monthly Availability for a Resource Report
  • Service Level Analysis Report
  • Group Customer Experience Report
  • Group Daily Availability Report
  • Group Monthly Availability Report
  • Group Service Level Analysis Report
  • Error Summary Report
  • Scorecard Report
